About High Hope Freeport
High Hope Freeport is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by William “Will” Brown and Aisha Brown. The organization is rooted in the belief that Freeport can be safer, stronger, and more connected when the community works together.

Our work is grounded in lived experience, trust-building, peacebuilding, mentorship, support, prevention, and opportunity. We meet people where they are, walk with them through challenges, and help create spaces where healing, growth, and transformation are possible.
Leadership Rooted in Lived Experience
William “Will” Brown serves as the Co-Founder and Executive Director of High Hope Freeport. His leadership is shaped by lived experience, transformation, and a deep commitment to turning pain into purpose. Will’s journey has given him a powerful understanding of the challenges many youth, families, and community members face — and a strong belief that people can change when they are supported, seen, and connected to opportunity.

Through High Hope Freeport, Will works to build trust, promote peace, support youth, strengthen families, and help create a safer, more connected Freeport.

Vince Brooks serves as the Program Director of High Hope Freeport. His journey is also rooted in lived experience, personal growth, entrepreneurship, and business education. Vince brings a practical and inspiring perspective to the work, helping connect community members — especially young people — to leadership, purpose, responsibility, and opportunity.

High Hope Freeport builds peace through mentoring, youth development, family support, healing spaces, violence prevention education, resource connection, outreach, and community events that bring people together.

Together, High Hope’s leadership reflects the heart of the mission: transformation is possible, peace can be built, and community change begins with people who are willing to show up.
